The Woolpack is a downstairs cottage with wheel chair access. Only one mile from Brecon and been designed, furnished and equipped to the highest standard, with many of the original features maintained.

The Woolpack cottage is a cosy one bedroom property which has been designed for less able visitors. The ground floor property has full wheelchair access throughout and provides a great base to enjoy this beautiful setting.

Part of a delightful farm conversion The Woolpack  can be booked individually or along with the other Farm Cottages, Millers, Brynich Hayloft and Wagoners, sleeping 20 in total.  With huge lawns and 40 acres of privately owned farmland to explore, complete with nature trail, there is no better place to relax and enjoy the beautiful rural setting

Accommodation

Sleeps 2, 1 bedroom. Ground floor cottage with 1 double bedroom with an en suite shower room. It has a comfortable lounge/kitchen/dining area with sofabed. This cottage, and all of its facilities, have been designed for wheelchair access, and with less abled visitors in mind.In each cottage: Shaker style kitchens with dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, fridge and fan oven (Miller's and Wagoner's have a double oven and a full height fridge/ freezer.) Iron and ironing boards, TV and DVD.

Bedroom 1: double bedroom,  tastefully furnished in pine.

Useful information

  • Bedlinen (except cot) and towels provided.
  • Cots and high chairs available on request,
  • Children and well-behaved dogs are welcome. Dogs are not allowed in the bedrooms.
  • Mobile phone reception good. 
  • Bookings are generally Friday to Friday, but short breaks are also available throughout the year.
  • Miller's and Wagoner's Cottages can be interconnected for larger groups to enjoy via the lounge and the downstairs corridor.
  • Millers and Wagoners require a £250 bond for Stag and Hen parties.
  • A childrens indoor soft play facility, open to the public. Brynich Farm Cottages are part of a delightful development of barns with 4 converted cottages in a beautiful courtyard setting. Supermarkets that deliver here are Tesco, Asda and Waitrose and you can also pre-order a hamper of award-winning treats and picnic snacks from local Brecon Beacons producers. Please see our web site for more details.

    Brynich is just a mile and a half from Brecon itself, and a short walk to the village of Groesffordd with its lovely local pub.  Brynich prides itself on being environmentally sensitive and runs entirely on solar power and has free electric hook up facilities for guests with electric vehicles.
