This 200 hundred year old stone barn set above The Wye Valley has been beautifully converted with wonderful views and miles of walking straight from the door. Sympathetically re- built using the original Welsh stone, tiles and beams and hand built oak doors. The owners have opted for an "Eco friendly" approach including solar panels, extra thick insulation and highly efficient underfloor heating making this a very warm and comfortable barn for visitors to stay in. Come and stay at Woodridge Barn and enjoy the 108" SCREEN, bring your own films or watch TV on the HOME CINEMA SCREEN with surround sound. This is a great location if you want to visit Builth Wells and The Royal Welsh Showground with its many events throughout the year.
Barn Accommodation
Lovely fitted kitchen with granite top shaker style units, ample work and storage space. Double electric oven, LPG 7 ring gas hob. Fridge, dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine. Wall mounted TV. Separate utility room houses a washing machine, second fridge and freezer and has drying space for walking gear. Shower room with power shower, toilet and washbasin. Spacious Dining room with antique pine table and chair, lovely warm tiled floor with the efficient underfloor heating throughout, and entrance/ French doors lead out to the patio area with the most wonderful views.
The sitting room area is comfortably furnished with sofas and has oak floors and a fireplace with woodburning stove providing a focal point and extra warmth if need be. A HOME CINEMA is available for guests to use with a full screen and surround sound, TV with Freesat, DVD, with a selection of DVDs. The owners have left a selection of maps and books about the area and as keen walkers have made a folder of local recommended walks for guests to use.

Useful information
The village has a local pub that serves food and a few miles away there are good restaurants at Llangoed Hall and Llyswen. This is an excellent remote location, with only the owners living in an adjacent barn, with miles of wild moorland and open hillside leading up into Mid-Wales. 2.5 miles to the nearest village Erwood. 10 miles Brecon over the hills. 16 miles by main road. 14 miles Hay-on-Wye and 12 miles Builth Wells.
