A lovely rural position within the grounds of the owner's farm, this fantastic holiday home is also only 4 miles from the town of Brecon. Admire the Georgian architecture, and discover independent shops, restaurants and pubs. Visit the heritage centre, follow Captain's Walk and see the remains of Brecon's medieval walls, or visit the South Wales Borderers Museum at Brecon Barracks. The Brecon Beacons National Park is perfect for walking enthusiasts with breath-taking landscapes to be enjoyed from riverside to mountain peak. Hire mountain bikes and enjoy pony trekking at Cantref Adventure Farm, or try sailing, paddle boarding and kayaking at Llangorse Lake. Discover some of Europe’s finest surviving castles: Brecon Castle, Abergavenny Castle and Crickhowell Castle.

The perfect base for a quiet relaxing break, return to this welcoming home from home after a day of discovery in the Welsh countryside. The bright, country-style kitchen has an electric cooker with grill set in an inglenook, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, microwave, filter coffee maker, a larder cupboard, toaster and kettle. The large dining table is perfect for sociable mealtimes for everyone to gather around. The newly extended cloakroom houses a washing machine, tumble dryer and drying facilities for coats and boots. The lounge has breathtaking panoramic views across the patchwork fields into the valley beyond, ideal for observing the wildlife on the lake. Settle on the leather sofas to relax with a film in the evening, as the electric wood burner effect fire glows in the inglenook. There is a bathroom with a shower over the bath and a further separate WC. The master bedroom has a king-size bed and a wall mounted TV, ideal for those lazy mornings, whilst a further double and a twin complete the bedrooms.

Outside at the front of the property, the large enclosed lawned area is surrounded by a mixture of plants and border shrubs. Enclosed in a log cabin is the luxury hot tub and is the perfect place to sit and relax and enjoy the stunning scenery whatever the weather. To the rear is a lawn and patio area with garden seating and BBQ, perfect for dining alfresco. There is also a safe children's play area with swing, slides, see-saw and outdoor toys. There is off-road parking.

Absolutely gorgeous property, stunning views and Ann is wonderful. We were a party of 4 adults and 2 teenagers and stayed for a week. The bungalow was perfect for us and the hot tub was an added bonus.

We had a perfect holiday at Anns bungalow, we were 3 adults and 2 children and there was plenty of space for us all. We loved the hot tub, it was a perfect after days exploring the area. We were within easy reach of lots of walks and the farm park for the kids. There was everything you need at the cottage and even a bunch of daffodils and fresh mRead moreilk in the fridge for when we arrived. The garden was a good size with a play park for the kids and lovely views across Brecon. We would definitely return and wanted to stay longer! Hide

Very friendly and welcoming hosts, this is a lovely cottage, very well equipped with everything you need for a very relaxing break, the hot tub is a real bonus, and its in its own shed which is handy with the occasional Welsh shower ! Lots of great walking in the area, the waterfall walks are a must. We highly recommend this cottage .

A wonderful stay in a very clean and comfortable bungalow. Ann is very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The kids loved the indoor hot tub, play area, books and games. We enjoyed hiking and biking from the door and loved the peaceful location.

What an absolute gem! Ann's Bungalow was very well equipped, comfortable and spotless. The hot tub was well-maintained in it's own little building with nice touches like a privacy screen for changing. The bungalow is well laid out with nice homely touches, and the kitchen has everything you can need. The washing machine and dryer are always a huge Read morehelp. We stayed here for 2 weeks, and it was absolutely perfect. The cottage had everything we needed; the kitchen was well stocked with utensils etc, and there were books and toys for the kids too. It was so peaceful and quiet, with some lovely places to walk as well. Ann is lovely, and would stop and have a chat when we saw her to check we didn't need Read moreanything or have any problems. The cottage itself is very well maintained as well, as was the garden. We will definately look to return some time :) Hide

This was a brilliant place to stay in, was nice and quiet down some narrow country roads about 4 miles from Brecon. The bungalow had all the amenities needed inc washing machine. hot tub was easy to work. Ann the owner had everything sorted and good communication. We did some outdoor activities with the kids including gorge walking/ climbing / canoRead moreeing mainly with black mountain adventure , all well organised. Ann's Barn is definitely a rare find. The playground was perfect entertainment for our little ones and the sit play equipment was fun for wizzing around the garden. The hot tub was a particular luxury for us. The bungalow is spotlessly clean and equipped with everything you can think of. The children loved the range of toys and puzzles. Delightful bungalow and so peaceful. It was lovely to have everything we needed and the kitchen was excellent. Nice to have a decent supply of all the basics like toilet rolls, dishwasher tablets etc! The hot tub was fabulous. I would be very happy to return.

Lovely bungalow and owner Ann was very helpful and accommodating. Hot tub was a great temperature and stays warm even in very cold snap in January when it was sub zero degrees outside. Bungalow is very clean and tidy too. Would recommend.

A beautiful cottage at the heart of the Brecon beacons. It has a playground, fantastic hot tub, BBQ, wonderful views and perfect locations. The cottage is immaculately clean and very well maintained. Ann is a wonderful host, very welcoming and available. We highly recommend this property!

Wonderful cottage, beautifully clean, comfortable and well equipped for our family holiday. Real attention to detail and everything we needed and more. The view from the front of the house is stunning. Hot tub, which was also immaculate, was a huge bonus after a days walking.
