The farm is on the Wye Valley Walk, an ideal location for walkers, mountain bikers, and canoeists (there is safe storage for mountain bikes and canoes). There is a safe children's play area and large BBQ/picnic area. There are many footpaths crossing the farm and a pond with a bench and table for relaxing by. It also has outstanding views of the Black Mountains, which can be seen from your very own living room window. There are several excellent local pubs/restaurants; The Griffin and Bridge End at Llyswen, The Boat at Whitney-on-Wye, Llangoed Hall and all the many amenities in Hay-on-Wye.

Sleeps 10, 5 bedrooms. Large new kitchen with ample work and storage space, electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, freezer and a washing machine/dryer. Beautiful sitting room with magnificent views of the Black Mountains. Much of the traditional stonework and original features have been retained. There are comfortable leather sofas and chairs, TV, DVD and CD player. Large dining table and chairs to comfortably seat 10. A downstairs cloakroom with handbasin and toilet.

There is an interconnecting door between Yew Tree Barn and Walnut Tree Barn making it possible to use both cottages together thus sleeping 16 people in total.
The farm is 2 miles from Glasbury, 1 mile from Boughrood and 6 miles from Hay-on-Wye. The barns are also within 10 miles of Brecon to the South and Builth Wells to the East.
