Ty Hwnt is a secluded and beautiful old stone farmhouse once featured in 'Country Living Escapes',  the house  is set in four acres of glorious remote countryside high on the hillside along The Llantony Valley in The Black Mountains and close to Offa's Dyke Path - this is a perfect location for anyone wanting perfect seclusion with peace and quiet. Probably no sounds other than the bleating of sheep and bird song, a haven for artists, ornothologists, writers and those just wanting complete relaxation well off the beaten track. The neighbours are about half a mile away and offer pony trekking, free range eggs and goats milk. There are wonderful walks, bring a mountain bike, or try pony trekking from the near Llantony Riding and Trekking Centre. Accommodation

Sleeps 5/6 plus cot and child's bed, 3 bedrooms. The thick stone walls, polished floors, low doorways, patchwork and paintings all give a homely air. It is set on a southerly slope with spectacular views of the Llanthony Valley. Open plan kitchen/ dining room; elm table and chairs, sofa, elm kitchen units,  electric cooker and separate hob, microwave, washing machine and fridge. Sitting room has fireplace with stone lintel, large open fire with woodburning stove, beams, desk, sofa, easy chairs with a small room off. A second small sitting room with a leather sofa, antique pine furniture and a feature stone fireplace. No TV by visitor choice. Selection of family games, books and radio. Downstairs bathroom with bath, handbasin and toilet. There is an additional upstairs toilet and handbasin.

Bedroom 3:  with a single bed and a child's crib bed (suitable for up to six years of age), off this room there is a pretty an under the eaves bedroom with a single bed. Bedrooms are charmingly furnished.
