Swallows Nest | Abergavenny

Sleeps 2 in 1 bedroom. Perfect cottage to stay in if walking in The Black Mountain or on The Blorenge

Swallows Nest

Swallows Nest and Kaths Loft are newly on the books, they are delightful cosy and homely properties with friendly owners.  The cottages are approximately 3 miles from Abergavenny now famous for its flourishing Food Festival and 7 miles from Raglan with very easy access to Monmouth and the Welsh Marches and with its well preserved castle dating from the 14th century. This really is worth a visit. These are perfect cottages to stay in if walking in The Black Mountain or on The Blorenge which is can be seen rising up majestically across the valley where very often hang gliders can be seen drifting across the sky. There is the Three Castles Walk passing through Grosmont Castle, Skenfrith Castle and White Castle near Llantilio dating from the 1200's. Abergavenny with the back drop of The Sugar Loaf and Skirrid Mountain is excellent walking.
