An idyllic and secluded beautifully converted former 18th century corn barn, beautifully furnished, set in several acres of its own grounds. A large grassy lawn - once part of the wildflower and hayfield but now mown and perfect for ball games, a stone terrace with wooden garden table and chairs with lovely views across the meadow and down to the River Monnow. Visitors can walk straight from the cottage and there are pools in the river for swimming in the summer. A few minutes drive of the award winning Bell at Skenfrith pub and restaurant. (Please note it is very important to book well in advance). This lovely barn is a perfect location for families with ample open-plan space for playing and cupboards full of toys, games and books. This is a magnificent barn for two families wishing to come away together but with the separate sleeping arrangements for four couples. The property is as ecological as possible and exceptionally well insulated so that it heats up very quickly and holds its heat.  Monmouth 10 miles, Ross on Wye 12 miles and Abergavenny 13 miles.
