Pandai House is part of the Old Flannel Mill called Dan-y-Bont and lies on the outskirts of the village of Gilwern: There is a village shop, post office, garage and several pubs providing good food. The house I would consider to be unsuitable for children under the age of 8yrs, unless babies. Parents with children over this age, should note that the River is very steep at this point, it is railed off but flows fast over rocks through a narrow gorge. It is very picturesque and beautiful, but quite dangerous for adventurous children if unsupervised.
