Ty Carno is a beautifully restored 17th century barn set around a delightful courtyard 2 miles south of the village of Libanus. It is tastefully fitted and furnished throughout with the owners living in one of the barns. An indoor heated swimming pool is available, at an extra charge, on discussion with the owner. Carno is set in its own 5 acres tucked under the west side of Pen-y-Fan, surrounded by the National Trust and National Park. It has direct access onto the Beacons with lovely views of Carno Woods, the Gyrn and Craig Cerrig Gleisiad. Book early to find a spare week.
Cottage Accommodation:
Sleeps 4 -1 Super King/ Twin 1 Twin
Kitchen has spotlights and small breakfast bar. Large conservatory features spectacular views towards the Beacons. Living room features oak beam and log-effect fire in the fireplace.
It has a fully fitted well-equipped kitchen with oak units, electric cooker, microwave, dishwasher fridge/ freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer in communal drying room. The dining/ sitting room has a dining table, chairs, sofa, Sky Freesat TV, DVD, video, wifi signal variable in strength, music centre, oak beams and attractive stone fireplaces. A selection of books, magazines, games, CDs, records and videos, wooden staircases lead up to the bedrooms and second bathroom which feature exposed oak beams.
Downstairs bathroom: With a bath with electronic aid for the disabled plus shower fitment, handbasin and toilet.
Downstairs there is an "electronic day bed" which can be moved into the other cottages if required.

Ty Carno is has the Visit Wales awards for walkers and cyclists.
Useful information
Ty Carno has been converted from the original 17th century "Beast House". It has wheelchair access and can be booked in conjunction with Carno Bach as a sound proof double door can be opened to allow access through.
