This very well equipped, warm, comfortable and elegantly restored cottage is in the grounds of the owners' house and dates originally from the 13th century; Jinks was the family name of the village cobbler who lived here with his wife and 6 children. The owners have lavished time, effort and attention to detail on creating a romantic, luxury cottage; they enjoy meeting their guests and making sure you have the best possible stay. A welcome basket and fresh flowers greet you on arrival and you are invited to use a large part of their extensive, well-kept and abundant garden. The cottage is about 500 yards from the beautiful 13th century church of St Cadoc, with its mediaeval wall paintings and wildflower meadow; the Offas Dyke path passes even closer by and the Les Routiers listed village inn - the Hunters Moon - again from the 13th century, offers good food, fine wines and real ales.
