The cottage was decorated and equipped to a very high standard, and along with the great location it made for a great experience. The welcome basket with home produced free range eggs was a nice touch.-

Thank you for your email regarding our stay at Hollyfield in Cricklehowell.
We had a very good stay and found the cottage very comfortable and of outstanding quality.
The grounds are absolutely breathtaking and we received a very warm welcome from the caretakers in residence especially the two dogs Clancy and Nellie, who accompanied us and our two dogs on a walk round the grounds every morning.
Also we found the whole area to be very dog friendly and all the pubs/restaurants we went in allowed us to take our dogs in - which is so refreshing these days!!!!!!!
We really enjoyed our stay and we are seriously thinking of booking Hollyfield for a summer break.
Just one small negative in that the bed was a bit small and would be better if it was a kingsize bed.
Regarding the service we received from Brecon Beacons Holiday cottages we can say a very big thank you to Ann for recommending Hollyfield to us. Also we have just fallen in love with the Brecon Beacons!!!!!!-
I have to say that the whole experience from booking the holiday cottage to actually visiting has been a perfect and smooth transaction, we decided to book a weekend away for our 11th Wedding anniversary at the very last moment (4 days before), your staff were so helpful and sent me through all cottages that were available for the days we requested which made making a choice so easy.
The cottage we stayed in Hollyfield at Crickhowell was by far the best holiday cottage we have ever stayed in….. exceeding all expectations, it was so relaxed the dogs were made very welcome by the two resident dogs who came on walks with us………..the cottage itself was of high quality, lovely bright and clean with wonderful panoramic views of the mountains……the log fire added to the comfort when the weather was wet and windy, and the bed was so comfortable!.........
All in all your staff and the cottage owners should be proud of the service given, I will certainly book again through your company and would love to stay back at Hollyfield, I have already given out your website to several friends.
Once again many thanks.
I loved Hollyfield, Ike and his family very helpful, if needed.I had thought the cottage ( from street view ) was behind the black/ white Lodge house ( ie, I thought THAT was the house !)
So I was very pleased that it was much further back from the road. The doggies Frankie and Nellie were charming. Ike and wife were lovely, hens therapeutic ... fabulous eggs.It really is a lovely cottage; I used the terrific woodburning stove; excellent.
Many thanks, and I hope that I have found a cottage for myself to live in at Gwehelog, thanks to my stay !Again many thanks, a wonderful place to stay,
We had a great stay - the cottage was lovely and very well appointed. We didn't encounter any problems and have nothing but good to say about it. The booking process with yourselves was very efficient and trouble free too. We would like to come back - (we tried Pen-y-Fan on a very windy day - so windy that I couldn't stand up at the top and caught only a glimpse of the breathtaking view over the other side).
