The nearby lake which guests are free to fish, has a variety of good sized coarse fish specimens. This is a working hill farm which has been farmed under an environmental scheme since the late '90s and is situated 3 miles from the market town of Abergavenny, the local pub is at the end of the farm drive, so no need to drive home! There are a variety of walks available directly off the farm as well as easy access to the rest of the National Park, Offas Dyke, Forest of Dean, Wye Valley and the fabulous Welsh Border country which still remains largely undiscovered by most people.
