Cottage Accommodation

There are three luxurious contemporary and recently built houses; Hay Riverbank House is spacious with dedicated parking right beside the door. There is a spacious dining area and a superb top of the range modern kitchen with French doors that lead out to a paved terrace with garden furniture for dining "al fresco" overlooking the river. Glass doors open right up to enable visitors to enjoy the feel of being inside and out. The kitchen is electric with oven, hob, microwave, fridge and a freezer, dishwasher, washer/dryer. There is also a very convenient downstairs cloakroom with handbasin and toilet.

On the first floor there is a spacious sitting room with sofas and chairs, Freeview TV and again French door leading out to a wooden balcony with table and chairs; the doors again fold back to extend the room on fine days to encompass the balcony and to take full advantage of the views.

Bedroom 1:  with a king-size bed and an en suite shower room.

Up a further flight of deeply carpeted stairs

Bedroom 2: with a super king sized bed (or if required can be two single beds)

Bedroom 3:  has a single. There is a comfortable and spacious bathroom with a bath with a large and powerful shower over, handbasin and toilet.

With those discerning visitors looking for self catering accommodation in Wales with something extra in cottage comfort and luxury, we believe Hay Riverbank House is the perfect destination for couple, families and if using the other two very similar properties a small group of like minded friends.

The River Wye just below the house is a great attraction with a footpath on both banks, this is easily accessible for leisurely strolls and for the more adventurous there is The Black Mountains with the wonderful Hay Bluff and Gospel Pass just a short distance away. Herefordshire and The Welsh Marches again very close by offer ample possibilities for exploring, sight seeing and walking, with The Brecon Beacons only a twenty minute drive. The River Wye at Hay has a lovely pebble beach called The Warren where during the summer people swim and picnic.
