We were absolutely delighted with the cottage - it’s in a stunning location, well-presented, clean and homely inside, and there were absolutely no problems. If anything the description online undersold how peaceful and isolated (in a good way) it is.The owner was wonderful. She popped round on the second day with cakes, and her husband stopped by later in the week to say hello. They were both really friendly, helpful, and basically nothing was too much trouble. We’re just checking diaries for next Christmas, but there’s every likelihood we’ll rebook and go back again!
