Enter on the ground floor into the very spacious open plan living /dining /kitchen. The character of the old barn is reflected by the oak beams and the window shapes, giving views out over the courtyard and beyond to The Sugar Loaf Mountain. The handcrafted kitchen with its pine dresser and unique pieces of furniture give the cottage a homely feel.
The Neuadd was originally one of the principle farms for the Beaufort Estate. The original house dates back to the 16th century and is set in approximately 10 acres. The Neuadd is located in an idyllic tranquil spot at the foot of Llangattock Mountain, whilst still being adjacent to all amenities. Each cottage has picture postcard views
A couple can spread out here and also entertain, as there is plenty of room for guests at the long table that runs down the centre of the living space, enabling a group from a number of cottages to dine together. (At a squeeze we've know all the occupants of the cottages to dine here).
Plenty of space for laying out maps and planning your expeditions or lounging in front of the 32" HD TV. Leading off the living area, the bedroom, with its en-suite bathroom, is furnished with individual pine furniture and enjoys good light from the courtyard windows.
All cottages are open plan with well equipped kitchens, electric cooker, microwave, fridge freezer and ample storage and work space. The living areas have comfortable sofas, chairs, selected individual pieces of furniture, solid oak dining table and chairs and a Flatscreen TV, and video. Each cottage has been decorated and furnished to the highest of standards retaining many original features.
