Sleeps 12/14. Cilwych Farm cottages are set in a 300 acre estate, which lies along the banks of the River Usk and is bordered by the Brecon Beacons and Black Mountains.

A delightful setting for a family group or group of friends with spacious accommodation in two adjoining barn conversions, converted to high standard and offering quality and comfort. There is a large central dining room in one property where everyone can eat together and a large sitting room with comfy seating.

Cilwych Stable 1

Sleeps 5/6, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms. Fully fitted kitchen with electric cooker, microwave and fridge. Separate dining room with dining table and chairs, the sitting room has a sofa and chairs, TV and French doors to a rear patio.

Cilwych Dairy

Sleeps 2/3,  3 bedrooms. Fully fitted kitchen/dining room with electric cooker, fridge and microwave and dining table and chairs. Separate sitting room with sofa and chairs, TV, an open stone fireplace with dog grate and a stable door leading to a rear patio.

Cilwych Granary

Sleeps 2, 1 bedrooms. Fully fitted kitchen/dining room with electric cooker, fridge, dining table and chairs. The sitting room has a sofa and chairs, a TV and a double bow top French door leading to a rear patio.

The cottages at Cilwych Farm sleep up to 12-14 in an attractive courtyard setting. 

Useful information

  • Bedlinen, duvets and pillows are provided.
  • Towels and tea-towels on request.
  • Electricity. Gas central heating is inclusive from 6am-10am & 5pm-12am - other times it is charged per unit used, supplement payable to owner.
  • Laundry room with washing machines.
  • Good mobile reception.
  • Shared courtyard terrace with garden furniture.
  • Each cottage has its own back entrance so is totally private if wished.
  • Not suitable for pets.
  • Ample parking and access to the River Usk. 
  • Canoeing, tennis, swimming, bird-watching, golf, mountain biking and sailing are all within easy reach of the farm.
  • The owners ask for a small charge for cleaning ( to be discussed and paid to the owner) if you do not wish to clean the properties at the end of your stay.
  • Supermarkets that deliver here are Tesco, Asda and Waitrose.

    The estate is full of beautiful woodlands and pasturelands, which are grazed by sheep, cattle and horses. The farm is a wildlife haven, there are endless walks from the door which offer superb views and peace and tranquillity. As well as providing the ideal holiday for individual families, Cilwych is the perfect location for a family get together or larger groups wishing to enjoy outdoor activities.

    Llangynidr village and Bwlch are just 1 mile away.
