Carno is a group of three beautifully restored 17th century barns and farmhouse set around a delightful courtyard 2 miles south of the hamlet of Libanus. They are tastefully fitted and furnished throughout with the owners living in one of the barns. An indoor heated swimming pool is available, at an extra charge, on discussion with the owner. Book early to find a spare week. Carno is set in its own 5 acres tucked under the west side of Pen-y-Fan, surrounded by the National Trust and National Park. It has direct access onto the Beacons with lovely views of Carno Woods, the Gyrn and Craig Cerrig Gleisiad. Fishing is available on the River Glyn Tarrell just down the lane.
Cottage accommodation
Sleeps 4, 2 bedrooms. A superbly restored and renovated detached Welsh farmhouse dating from 1642. Quarry tiled kitchen and utility room, downstairs shower room has shower, basin and toilet. Large living room features oak beams, large open fireplace with stove, and stone spiral staircase. There are several lovely pieces of period furniture and a working harmonium.

Carno is WTB verified for walkers and cyclists. Each property has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms sleeping 4 adults plus a child's bed/ cot and high chair. Fully fitted well-equipped kitchens with oak units, electric cooker, microwave, dishwasher fridge/ freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer in communal drying room. Dining/sitting rooms have dining table, chairs, sofa, easy chairs, Sky Freesat TV, DVD, video, music centre,WI-FI, oak beams and attractive stone fireplaces. A selection of books, magazines, games, CDs, records and videos.
Wooden staircases lead up to the bedrooms and second bathroom which feature exposed oak beams.
