Canal House, | Brecon

This is an excellent and recently refurbished spacious six bedroomed house and a Games Room. Close to the Brecon & Monmouthshire Canal with tow path and within a few minutes' walk to the centre of Brecon town.  This house is in an ideal location for visiting the whole of the Brecon Beacons National Park and for all types of activity breaks with the added advantage of being able to walk out in the evening to a local pub or restaurant.  Mountain bikes can be washed and stored in a secure area, and there is parking for 4 cars.
Easy access to walks along the canal, Brecon theatre is only a couple of minutes away with Tipple & Tiffin at the Theatre and beside the canal with an excellent bar and restaurant facilities. 
Brecon Rugby Club is on the opposite side of this quiet lane. On certain weekends such as Brecon jazz weekend there is live music here, please call the office to check this and occasionally functions are held here, although this is quite infrequent.

Canal House offers ample space for a family group for a celebration birthday party or even a local christening or a place to stay for a wedding locally. For a group of friends on a weekend away whether you are walking or on mountain bikes a great location.

Accommodation

The accommodation downstairs comprises a large kitchen/dining room with long kitchen table and chairs for at least 12 people. The kitchen is very well equipped with a larder fridge, an electric fan-assisted oven and a five ring gas stove , microwave, washing machine, preparation areas and two sinks. Plenty of work and storage areas and is fully equipped for group catering, with a large freezer and iron and ironing board in a separate utility room.

The sitting room is spacious and comfortably furnished with sofas and chairs and has a 40" TV and DVD player with a large cupboard very well-stocked with books, board games and toys with various local maps and local information.  With a gas flame effect stove adding warmth and cosiness to the room for the winter months, but there is efficient gas fired central heating throughout. French doors lead out onto a spacious patio area with large table and chairs and a barbeque with lots of tubs of flowers.

A separate games room is ideal for everyone, with a "chill-out" space with a sofa and beanbags, a 46" TV, DVD, Wii and a Pool Table.

The separate utility room has hanging space for coats and storage for walking boots and has a downstairs shower, toilet and handbasin.

Upstairs the 6 bedrooms and bathrooms. All with bath/shower rooms and with good quality beds mattresses and co-ordinated bedlinen throughout:
