Buttercup Barn has been converted to a very comfortable and spacious holiday cottage from an old stone barn, part of which dated from the 18th century. There are the most lovely views from the house, with the horses and sheep in the fields close to the house and the Brecon Beacons in the back ground.

Family Gathering
This is a house that I think would be perfect for two small families wishing to stay together - it is very comfortable and warm with the efficient oil central heating, close to Brecon yet situated with a few other dwellings in a rural location. The Griffin at Felin Fach ("The Eat, Sleep and Drink, as it is often called), is an excellent restaurant and pub a few minutes drive down the lane, please make sure you book if you want to eat there as it has won many awards and is always busy. Brecon 6 miles, 12 miles from Hay-on-Wye.
"Visit Wales have awarded Buttercup Barn both the Cyclists Welcome and Walkers Welcome Award which ensures that the accommodation is suited to the needs of cyclists and walkers e.g. Use of an outside tap and hose for cleaning equipment, Maps and Guidebooks available, Drying Area and Storage Area for Clothing and Cycles etc "
