A picturesque secluded 18th Century stone cottage set at 1,000 ft; has spectacular panoramic views over the Wye Valley. - Lady Betjeman, the travel writer, lived locally and once as she was riding past the cottage said "You know, you have the best view in Europe": Bullen's Bank Cottage is about 200 years old and was restored in the mid 1980's. Cottage accommodation
Sleeps 4/6 plus cot, 3 bedrooms. Fitted kitchen with electric oven, ceramic hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. Comfortably furnished sitting room (quite a low ceiling) has a new sofa and armchairs, dining table and chairs, digital TV, DVD and video. You can appreciate the amazing 70 mile views from the many green oak framed windows in the second sitting room with armchairs, sofa bed, dining table and chairs and a second woodburning stove. Downstairs bathroom has bath with shower over, handbasin and toilet.

Bedroom 1 and 2: a twin bedroom leading to a room with a 4'6" double bed on one side,
Bedroom 3: twin bedroom on the other side, which can be used as a double.
Heating by woodburning stove and electric storage heaters. Cot provided. Pretty garden around the cottage with picnic tables, benches, soft reclining chairs and a BBQ; this must be one of the most perfect quiet retreats with magnificent views; there is a ha-ha wall with a 6ft drop on one side which should be considered if bringing a young child.

Bullen's Bank and Llangain are set at 1,000 ft above sea level in a spectacular location with panoramic views over the Wye Valley. There are many footpaths near the cottage and farmhouse and the open hillside of the Black Mountains is close; an ideal place for walkers. BULLEN'S BANK and LLANGAIN CAN BE USED TOGETHER.
Bullen's Bank is an ideal hideaway for two people (price can be reduced for two people booking a short break).
