Buckland Mill (BUCKL) | Crickhowell

Sleeps 10. 17th century Mill in spectacular, idyllic location overlooking rocky falls of the River Usk with 200 yds of private fishing.

Buckland Mill

Buckland Mill is in the most idyllic situation and has in the past been painted by several great painters. It has a wealth of wild life with otters and badgers nearby. The river birds abound and to name a few there are dippers, kingfishers, wagtails and herons. The Mill is only 1.5 miles from Llangynidr and Bwlch, with good pubs and the village post office and stores. Fly fishing can be arranged on discussion with the owner for 2 rods (bring your own) on the Mill's 200 yards of double bank fishing and 200 yards of single bank fishing. A fishing licence is required. Some excellent trout and salmon pools are on this stretch of beautiful water, rod boxes are outside the Mill. Young children must be kept under close supervision at all times.
