There is a long oak dining table and chairs in the centre of the open-plan living area and the spacious sitting room has sofas, chairs, a TV with DVD player and stunning meadow views with the Black Mountains in the background. There is a useful downstairs cloakroom with toilet and handbasin.
Bedroom 1: a comfortable ground floor double bedroom with en suite. Ideal for any members of the party who can't manage the stairs, the en suite to this good sized room has a large shower, toilet and handbasin.
The solid oak staircase leads up to a circular balcony which overlooks the living area. There are large exposed beams and a cart wheel provides an attractive focal point.

Llangorse Lake - THE outdoor enthusiasts dream
Llangorse Lake is the largest natural lake in South Wales and has become a popular destination for outdoor enthusiasts. Head down to the water and hire a rowboat to enjoy a peaceful cruise whilst surrounded by the stunning scenery of the Brecon Beacons. Try your hand at water skiing or sailing - pedaloes and canoes are also available to hire. Those interested in fishing need look no further; Llangorse is renowned for its Pike fishing. If you are not a water baby, the site also boasts Wales' leading indoor climbing centre, the unique Sky Trek - a series of connected zip lines that take you through trees, down the mountainside, and numerous pony trekking and riding centres. There is more than enough at the Lake alone to keep any family busy.
Brecon, Hay-on-Wye and Abergavenny are all a short drive away
With Brecon 5 miles away, Hay 10 miles up the road and Abergavenny 15 miles away, Brynderwen is a perfect break if you enjoy exploring towns, want to sample a wide range of eateries and perhaps do a spot of shopping. Each town offers a totally different experience. Brecon boasts the picturesque canal and theatre, a thriving market on Tuesdays and Fridays and an impressive cathedral to explore. The short drive to Hay, the 'town of books' will provide a totally different day out with hours of browsing in the numerous book shops that have brought fame to the area. There is Hay Castle to admire and a lovely selection of boutique clothes shops and antique dealers. Hay is also a wonderful place to purchase gifts and enjoy a pub lunch. Abergavenny offers yet another stunning castle, this time with a museum, a wide range of shops and a thriving market. Head into town on a Tuesday morning and lose yourselves in the throng of farmers that descend on Abergavenny for the livestock markets held here every week.
