This 16th century farmhouse is one of the most sensitively restored farmhouses I have come across. The owners who live next door, have given great love attention and a great deal of time to ensuring that the restoration of the farmhouse is as true as possible. The ancient beams, flag stone floors, great open fireplace, old renovated radiators and floorboards, stone walls and original oak crooked stairs, windows with shutters and oak doors all add to the experience and make this a fascinating place to stay. With a sunny garden with terrace, a sundial and garden furniture and well kept flower bed and lawn; there are lovely views from all the windows over the steam with the little waterfall and across the valley to the forest and hillside. Many walks straight from the door. The farm next door has a Riding Centre with some beautiful horses for "more experienced riders" - offering an opportunity to be able to have tuition or to ride in the Brecon Beacons environs at a more advanced, exhilarating level.
