Sleeps 2. Beacons View is a wing of the owners' 15th century farmhouse, situated on an organic 100 acre hill farm 850ft above sea level with the land rising to 1200ft; nestling between the Begwyn Hills and the seasonally heather covered Llandeilo .

Sleeps 2, 1 bedroom. Very well equipped pretty kitchen with an oil-fired Rayburn for cooking if required and very efficient central heating. A two-ring Baby Belling cooker with oven, fridge with freezer, combi- microwave, slow-cooker, and washing machine. Sitting room has an oak dining table, chairs, sofa, chairs, antique rugs, kilim cushions, TV, DVD, video, a good selection of books, some lovely prints and paintings; wonderful views over the valley to the Brecon Beacons. Downstairs shower room with good power shower, handbasin and toilet.

Upstairs to a

Bedroom 1: double bedroom again with phenomenal views. Spare camp bed available if required.

Bathroom has bath, handbasin and toilet.

    Beacons View has been superbly decorated and furnished giving a feel of welcome and lightness; with the wonderful views one could sit in all day and not wish to leave!

    Beacons View is a wing of the owners' 15th century farmhouse, situated on an organic 100 acre hill farm 850ft above sea level with the land rising to 1200ft; nestling between the Begwyn Hills and the seasonally heather covered Llandeilo and Llanbedr Hills (walks to these from the farm). One walk leads through an ancient oak wood which during the Spring is thickly carpeted with bluebells; another to a field with a good view of the Llanbwchlan Lake, a Nature Reserve where one can view all sorts of wildfowl. Bring your binoculars. The farm is home to badgers, hares, snipe, curlew, buzzards, skylarks, owls with regular visits by the red kite and peregrine falcon. A good percentage of British birds can be seen at various times of the year. Pony trekking and riding nearby; golf and canoeing within easy distance. Fishing can be arranged with the owner

    Brecon 18 miles. Hay-on-Wye and Builth Wells 9 miles. Painscastle 2.5 miles, Erwood 3.5 miles with a Post Office and shop.  There are plenty of Pubs, Inns and Restaurants, the nearest being a pub called The Roasted Ox in Painscastle.
