"Aubreys" would have been part of a terrace of traditional farm workers cottages. It has now been converted to a comfortable and a surprisingly spacious four bedroomed cottage all with en-suite shower rooms. The cottage has some unique features such as "tractor seat" chairs in the conservatory and a classic tractor parked at the front of the cottage (usually just in the summer). Aubreys is a great place to stay close to the centre of the pretty village of Llangorse, near Brecon with views out towards The Brecon Beacons and Llangorse Lake in one direction and in the other up to the Black Mountains and Llangorse Mountain behind. The village has two pubs, The Red Lion and The Castle both serving food and another cafe down beside the lake. Visit The Crannog beside Llangorse Lake with its ancient history for a picnic or hire a boat on the lake and bring your fishing rods. Just up the lane is Llangorse Pony Trekking and Horse Riding Centre along with its Multi Activity Centre with a brilliant Climbing Wall, Zip Lines, Abseiling and Sky Trek - exciting for children big and small.
