Anns Barn is a lovely welsh stone barn conversion at Wern-y-Marchog Farm sleeping 2 people. The barn has the most lovely views across this peaceful and tranquil valley over a newly created pond already home to wild geese and ducks and numerous other wild water fowl. The adjoining meadow, where visitors are welcome to walk is an abundance of wildlife with a waterfall and a mountain stream and a bluebell wood. From the farm it is a very easy walk straight up on the footpaths to the tops of the Brecon Beacons with Pen-y-fan, Cribyn and Corn Ddu. A great place for visitors with mountain bikes (they can be locked up safely) and yet still only a few minutes drive into Brecon or Llanfrynach with the very popular White Swan pub and restaurant serving excellent food.
Cottage facilities
Ann's Barn has been beautifully converted with great oak beams and oak floor. The well equipped kitchen has an electric oven with grill and a ceramic hob. Microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. The dining room has dining table and chairs and the sitting area has sofa and chairs. SKY TV with video and DVD. CD, Hi-Fi and radio.
Upstairs to:
A bedroom with a king sized bed - with attractive Welsh Blankets used as Throws. There is a TV is this bedroom with SKY.
The shower room has a rectangular anti-slip double shower cubicle with a power shower over, a wash station with a ceramic top over a base unit. A closed coupled pan with push flush system.
There is a patio area with a garden shed for storage, gas BBQ and garden furniture.

Perfect location for hill walkers
This is a perfect location for hill walkers where you can just leave the car at the cottage and just walk straight up onto The Peaks of the Brecon Beacons which rise up behind the farm - foot paths lead straight up.
Plenty of outdoor activities close by
Cantref Pony Trekking and Riding Centre is just up the lane - a lovely way to be able to ride over the hills and to see the views. This barn is also a perfect spot to be able to take a mountain bike out onto the hills and ride all day.
Llanfrynach 2 miles with The White Swan and Brecon only 3 miles.
